A great new plugin has been released over on Jeremys Brain Dump which gives you the ability to easily add a ‘Subscribe To Feedburner’ widget into your WordPress blogs and arrange it just like the rest of your widgets. You can select which Feed icons, or ‘chicklets’ as they are called, you want to display from the widget options.
This plugin is configurable through the normal widget configuration under the presentation tab in your WordPress installation. The default title of ‘Subscribe To Feedburner’ can be changed to whatever you like in this new 1.1 version of the widget.
To install the widget just download the plugin from here, uncompress it and place it in your wordpress/wp-content/plugins/widgets directory. Then go to your admin page of your blog and activate it under Plugins. Then go to your Presentation->Sidebar Widgets page and drag it over to the sidebar wherever you want it to be displayed.
To configure the widget, click on the configure icon. You will see a Title: and a Feed URL: option. Don’t forget to change the Feed URL option as it defaults to BLOGNAME! The feed url is the one provided by Feedburner so it is wise to setup the Feedburner side first to make sure everything will work first time.
An example of the widget in action can be seen on the Go2Clickbank.info website. So the two bits of info the widget needs are;
This is a really nice widget and makes adding Feed icons and functionally to your blog very easy. Highly recommended!

1Very nice info, thank you. I’m just moving from Blogger to a WordPress self install and don’t, yet, know much about it. I already use feedburner for converting posts into HTML– they’re great.
Super plugin.
Thanks for the help.

2Just went over to get the plugin and you only get about 5 seconds on the page before a pop up comes us. When you try to close it the whole page disappears. Just thought you would like to know.
