Zeke 1.0 is a new 3 column, widget-ready Wordpress theme designed by Michael Pollock of SoloStream Webstudio. This theme is built to work with all Wordpress versions 2.1 and above.

Zeke 1.0 is very easy to install. As usual, simply unzip the download file. That will give you a folder titled Zeke10 which should contain all the Wordpress theme files and then upload this folder to your wp-content/themes blog directory.

A cool feature of this theme is that it has a Featured Articles section which appears above the start of your main posts. To create a Featured Article that looks like the one seen in the picture above, all you have to do is create a post, then create a category called “Featured”, and then place any of your posts into that category. The theme is set up to select and display the most recent Featured Article.

Zeke 1.0 is a very pro-looking Wordpress theme that you could have some fun with.

Wordpress 2.2.2 has now been released to everybody via the Wordpress download page. This latest 2.2.2 release, once again, is mainly security related and therefore it is a recommended update.

If you are going to update your blog there should not be any issues with this release as it only includes security and minor bug-fixes that should not cause any plugin or theme compatibility issues. So, if you have the few minutes it takes to update your blog, this would be well worth doing.
