zBench is new, fast-loading WordPress theme that uses small images, instead of big fancy headers images, to speed up your blog loading time. It is designed and created by zwwooooo.

zBench is also a WordPress theme without any plugins needed. It has built in support for plugins like WP Page Numbers, WP-PostViews, wp-utf8-excerpt, Related Posts, Simple Tags and WP-PageNavi.

The author’s site is in a foreign language so it may be tricky to chat to the author if  you have problems with this, but I have used it and it really is a solid theme to work with.
